Confirmation Class Banquet

For 6th graders who anticipate becoming church members.  The class culminates with church membership and an all-church banquet held in their honor.

Celebrating the birth of our nation with a patriotic worship service and cook out.

Once a year, an SMU football game is designated “United Methodist Church Day.” The congregation is invited to attend the game, at a discounted ticket price.

Bring your best recipes to be judged and for all to sample.

Children of all ages enjoy the game booths and sweet treats. Everyone can come in costume.  An outreach/mission to our neighborhood children.

The Ridgewood Park chapter meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month in the church parlor at 10:00 a.m.

Hits from popular musicals performed by members of our music program and anyone else who longs to stand up in front of an audience.

Celebrate the conclusion of each year’s Stewardship Drive with a holiday dinner (usually the Sunday before Thanksgiving) complete with all the trimmings.  A wonderful way to share a meal with your church family.

Our UMYF will take care of kids at the church from 6-10 pm at a reasonable rate so that the parents can enjoy an evening together and nurture their relationship with eachother. Dinner, a kid-friendly video, and supervised activities are provided. All funds raised support the youth on their mission trips.

Once a year, our children and youth put on a musical variety show, the proceeds of which benefit the Contemporary Choir on their annual summer tour.
