Our Purpose
Ridgewood Park Weekday Programs consists of two distinct opportunities designed to serve a range of needs for parents and their children. The Preschool and Mother’s Day Out programs are planned around the idea that children need full, happy, and flexible experiences. These programs are offered September though May of each year. Emphasis is placed on the needs of the individual child to develop self-confidence and independence in successful learning opportunities. We feel self-esteem is very important in becoming a healthy, happy child.
Our Credentials
Ridgewood Park Preschool was founded in 1960, and is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. The program is governed by the Board of Directors whose membership consists of church representatives and preschool/mother’s day out parents.
Registration
We encourage parents to visit the school to determine if this is the right setting for your child.
Preschool
We offer 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day programs for 3- to 5-year-olds, from 9 a.m. – 12:00 noon. We also offer an afternoon program from 12:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Mothers Day Out
We offer programs for 1 and 2 year-olds. The one year-old class is offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Children must be at least 12 months old by September 1st.) The 2 year-old class is offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Children must be at least 24 months old by September 1st.)
